`Tis the season...

Merry Christmas!

It's been an amazing 6 weeks and we've had a great time celebrating the holiday's with all of the family. Max and Molly both weigh about 8 1/2 lbs and are growing by leaps and bounds. They've graduated to larger bottles and are eating about every 5 hours now. Betsy has begun to venture out of the house during the day and we've all gone out to eat together as a family. It takes us a little longer to pack everything we think we'll need, but it's fun to take them out and show them off.

They still sleep a lot between feedings, but are more active afterwards and have begun to show emotion when we play with them. Max fusses at us to get our attention, and Molly remains content until we pick her up. Their personalities are beginning to show, and they love to play with their toys.

We make 10 bottles at a time, and that usually lasts us the day. Sometimes they get hungry early and the schedule we have changes. They're averaging 12 diapers a day, and we've gotten good at changing them with minimal sleep.

Grandma and Grandpa Woodall have gotten to meet them as well. 4 generations is an amazing thing and we're glad that we've had this opportunity.
We've also made the inaugural trip to the Gerst Haus for them to meet Rosie our favorite waitress. They slept most of the time and missed the great ambiance of German food and drink. I'm sure it won't be their last trip.
We wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and your family.
