Round And Round And Round We Go.....

Our summer has been fun and busy. It seems like we've been here....there....everywhere! We're growing up more and more and we're really close to walking. We can stand on our own, but we're not sure what to do when we're upright. We cruise around the coffee table and Dad is missing some clumps of hair on his legs where we've pulled ourselves up. The dogs love bringing us their toys and we love putting them in our mouths.

We're still boating, and it's been a lot of fun. We play in the cockpit and grab everything we can. We love playing in the water and splashing around. The river has been high this summer so we haven’t gotten in as much as we’d like.

We've got new toys that we can stand up and play on, and we are learning to take turns on where we stand. We aren't good at sharing yet, but Mom and Dad help remind us.

Max likes to sleep in the boat and I like to play with Mom and Dad while he's asleep. He usually sleeps for an hour and isn't as grumpy anymore when he wakes up.

Dad likes to make Mohawk's in my hair when I take a bath. I'm not sure what that's all about, but he usually laughs a lot, so at least he's happy.

Mom and Dad went to the All-star game in St. Louis and said they had a good time. They bought us some stuff and got us some official baseballs, but now they won't let us play with them?!?! We're glad they could go and we were really glad to see them when they got home.

They got to see Uncle Jeff while they were at the game and sat with him for a few innings. Mom said they both had a good time in those few innings and kept the beer guy really busy.
We got to go to Ellis Park this past weekend and watch the "pony's" go around the track. Dad made a nice donation to their electric bill while we played with our new friends Tyler, Travis, and Kirsten. They came with their Aunt Greta and Uncle Jim and it was a really nice day.
We hope all is well with you and your family and that you've been having as much fun this summer as we have.
Love,
