The Fast and the Curious
We're moving around even more now, and we've been playing outside in the yard. Mom and Dad have kid proofed the house as much as they can, and we continue to show them everything they forgot. We love chasing the dogs around the house, crawling all over our toys, and even underneath them! We've been boating almost every weekend and it's been fun to play in the water. Mom and Dad said the season is almost over and we better get in all the boating we can before we have to start raking the leaves.

According to Dad, we have 8,492 kid toys and all we want to play with is pots, pans, and dog toys. We like pots, pans, and dog toys and Mom keeps giving them to us. At least we aren't playing with Dad’s toys......yet!

When we get to the boat, we play hard and then we rest hard. The weather has been perfect the last several weekends, and we've enjoyed taking naps with the gentle rock and roll of "Melton Away". We've almost grown out of our life jackets, and according to our friends Brian and Nancy, we look like pink and blue marshmallows when we have them on.

We've discovered the mirror in the cabin of the boat. It reminds us a lot of the front door at the house. It's cool on our mouths and we get to leave prints allllllllllll over it. Fun fun fun!

We've decided to start getting different perspectives of all of our toys. We like to get under them to see what they look like from underneath. Sometimes we get caught, but we've learned that if we scream loud enough, Mom or Dad will get us out.

We've been playing in the yard a lot lately. Despite what Mom says, we're going to put the grass and dirt in our mouths anyways. We crab walk all over the driveway now, because we've learned that dragging our legs leaves ouchies and it stings when we take baths. Lucy and Ebby love to play with us in the yard too, but they're so much harder to grab when we're all outside.
We hope that you've had as much fun this summer as we have. It will be fall soon and you know what that means..........OUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Hope all is well with you and your family and we'll see you again soon.
Love,
Melton's x 4
