Laughing our diapers off...

Max and Molly are really getting big. They both weigh 16 lbs 8 oz and and feel like even more. Max is 27 1/6" long and Molly is 26 1/2" long. The Dr. said that both are extremely healthy and are exactly where they need to be.

They both are learning more skills every day, including laughing at each other, rolling over and over, and almost crawling. Max is able to get up on all fours and rock back and forth, and Molly loves to watch him.

We're enjoying watching them grow and we're sure that even more fun times are ahead.

Hope all is well with you and your family and we'll see you again soon,

Rough day at sea...

We had another great day on the river. We slept almost 2 full hours and played a lot. Mom and dad are really happy that we are doing so well in the boat.
See you again soon!!

Fun in the sun...

What a great start to our summer. We've gotten to go swimming in the neighbor's pool with Mom and Dad and we love the water. We aren't wild about our life jackets, but we'll get used to them. The water isn't really warm yet, but it was interesting when we splashed around in it.
We like to look at our reflections in the water and we don't mind getting in up to our chests. It's fun to put our hands in and shake them around.
We also had our maiden voyage in "Melton Away" this past weekend. There were lots of new noises and sounds and we had a lot of fun. Mom and Dad brought lots of toys for us to play with in the cabin, and it was comfortable with a cool breeze blowing through.
We looked all around at the stuff in the river, but we didn't get to see it all. Mom and Dad said that they'd bring us again soon and we can't wait. Finally we see what they've been talking about all winter long.

We eventually got tired and needed to take a nap. We didn't want to, but the gentle rocking of the boat, and Mom and Dad's persistence finally wore us down. We only slept a short while, but it was exactly what we needed and we were ready to go when we woke up

Aunt Jim and his family were also out on the river in their boat. Mom and Dad were really glad to have an extra set of hands if they needed them. Aunt Jim is going to be a grandpa shortly and we're excited to meet his granddaughter Maggie. We're sure she'll love being on the river too.
Jim's daughter Samantha is a little over 8 months pregnant and is really excited. She's going to be a great Mommy and her husband Jesse is going to be a great Daddy.

We hope you're having a great time in the warm weather, and that your family is too.

Love,
